One year ago this week we signed that dotted line. That signature gave us our Forever Home in downtown Cleveland. At the time we didn't know how we were going to do it, or when we would be in there, but we knew the Lord had a plan and we were along for the ride.
Over the last 12 months we have made so much progress! In our last building update (read HERE) we walked you through the beginning stages of clean up and the early days of construction and now we have an update!
After the building had been completely cleaned out we were able to see the space and outline where our store front, work space, and offices were going to go. Above, is a view of the new storefront space when the wall framing had gone up.
Now we have actual walls!
Our work space in the new building was crucial. We are maxed out on space in our current work space (see below). We needed more room so we are able to continue to grow our organization and help more women in our community!
Our new work space when the walls went up.
This space will be the room where the women learn a skill that will help them provide for their families and themselves and without the help of our supporters, this would not be possible.
We launched our Capital Campaign in April to start fundraising for our renovations. The total cost for everything we need to do in our new space is $150,000.
Over the last year we have raised $67,000 for renovations and we have seen this building transform.
This month, our goal is to raise $5,000, the last bit needed to get it move in ready. After we move in, we will continue to renovate the space as continued support & donations are given towards this endeavor.
To represent our renovation budget, we are constructing a puzzle that when completed, will be displayed in our Forever Home. Each puzzle piece represents donations given towards our renovations and the names of our donors will be displayed with the puzzle as they will forever be a part of this chapter of our story.

We are so grateful to every single person who has supported and encouraged us so far. Without you, we would not be able to do this!
