We See You, Single Moms.

Speaking up - it's a difficult thing for some of us mamas to do. Depending on personality, some of you may find it difficult to speak up for yourself out of fear that you will inconvenience others. Some of you may have no problem speaking up as you approach the world out of a place of confidence and/or desperation. Regardless of where you stand in regard to the value of your unique voice, I want to encourage you to use it.

Single mamas, it's obvious that you all have to do double the work most times, and we don't want you to feel alone. As you navigate the ins and outs of each day without the help of a spouse, I urge you to simply ask for help as you need it. You are too valuable to run yourself ragged trying to do all the things on your own, and, believe it or not, there are people willing to help. You are inspiring in every single way, and I want you to feel and experience all the support possible as you navigate this season of motherhood.

And to other mamas who may be reading who are not single, be proactive in reaching out to the single moms that you know in your life to see if there are ways (big or small) that you may can help. We are all in this journey of motherhood together!

And remember...

You are strong, capable, brave, determined, loved, and full of value.
