At the beginning of this year, our hearts were full of gratitude for how the Lord sustained us through all 2020 brought our way. We didn't know what 2021 would look like, but we knew the Lord would continue to lead and guide us. And as we look back on this year, we can see God's continued provision and faithfulness.
This year has been a reminder to stay steadfast in our work and mission. Even in unconventional times, we've asked God to continue to bring the women who need our support and care through our doors. We have seen great successes and some setbacks, but we continually see God's love and care for our staff and women.
In every season of life, I believe God calls us to keep sowing into the work He has called us to and into the lives of those around us.
My continued prayer for Free 2 Fly can be summed up by this verse that has been a promise for our staff this year and for every part of the work we carry out day after day...
"Which at the time of its sowing, is the smallest of all the seeds on earth. Yet once it is sown it grows into the biggest shrub of them all and puts out big branches so that the birds of the air can shelter in its shade." Mark 4:31
May our organization continue to be a place women find a shelter of support and hope.
