Submit Your Item
To participate in our New to You trade-in program, submit your gently used Free 2 Fly bag or apparel for review. We accept Free 2 Fly handbags, totes, crossbodies, weekenders, and wallets and above.
Please note: We do not accept small leather or fabric accessories such as headbands, earrings, pouches, or similar small items.

Shipping Your Item?
If shipping your item:
- Package it securely to prevent damage
- Ship at your own expense (we do not provide prepaid labels)
- Email projectfree2fly@gmail.com with your name, tracking number, and the item(s) you’re sending
We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. We recommend using a trackable, insured shipping method.
We Assess Your Product
Once your item is received, our team carefully evaluates its condition, functionality, and resale potential. Based on our assessment, your item will fall into one of the following categories:
BEST – $30 Store Credit
Mint condition and ready for resale.
- No tears, stains, or odors
- Functional zippers and snaps
- Intact hardware
These pieces are resold online and in-store.
UPCYCLE – $20 Store Credit
Minor wear but still valuable.
- Light wear and tear
- No major odors
- Functional or upcycle-able hardware
- No major stains on leather or fabric
These items may be refreshed, resold, or used in our program to teach sewing and upcycling skills.
RECYCLE – $10 Store Credit
Even if your item isn’t eligible for resale, you’ll still receive $10 in store credit.
Items with significant wear, structural damage, odors, or unremovable stains may not qualify for resale, but we’ll repurpose usable materials whenever possible to reduce waste and extend impact.
Confirm & Receive Your Store Credit
After your item has been evaluated, we will contact you with the store credit amount it qualifies for.
You can then choose to:
- Accept the store credit and allow us to keep the item
- Keep your item and pick it up in-store
If your item was shipped to us and you choose not to accept the credit, return shipping costs will be your responsibility.
Once you confirm that you would like to accept the store credit, we will issue your credit via email for use in-store or online at projectfree2fly.com.
Your piece gets a second life and you get to choose what’s next.
