As one of the founding members of the Fair Trade Federation, Aid Through Trade was started in 1993 by a former Peace Corps Volunteer. Now it is one of the leaders in the fair trade fashion industry and employs about 200 female artisans in Nepal.

All of our designs come from the minds of our talented designers and production team and are inspired by our frequent travels to Nepal. Our design team works closely with our artisans throughout the entire design process, carefully considering the practical implications of our designs before moving forward with any production. We supply our artisans with only the finest quality glass beads from sources in the Czech Republic and Japan. "Ready To Ship" products are products that the women in our program have already handmade. These productswill be ready for pick up or shipping by the next business day after ordering.
"Made To Order" products will be handmade by the women in our program upon ordering. You can pick your leather, fabric and hardware combination. The current turn around time is 2-2.5 weeks from order date (this timeframe excludes weekends and holidays that we are closed).
