DIRECTOR OF PROGRAM & CLIENT SERVICES
About Free 2 Fly
Free 2 Fly exists to support, nurture, and empower women as they rebuild their lives. Through meaningful work, high-quality training, community support, and life enrichment opportunities, we walk alongside women as they gain confidence, stability, and the tools needed for long-term success.
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and mission-driven individual to serve as our Director of Program & Client Services. This role plays a central part in guiding each woman through our program and coordinating the resources, relationships, and structure needed for her to thrive.
Job Responsibilities
CLIENT SERVICES
Onboarding & Intake
- Oversee the application, interview, and onboarding process for all program participants.
Ensure smooth transitions from inquiry to program start.
Client Coaching & Support
- Conduct weekly one-on-one check-ins with each participant.
- Collaborate with women to set meaningful goals; identify additional goals when essential steps may not be self-recognized.
- Use the program progress tracker to evaluate and document advancement.
Evaluations & Accountability
- Partner with the Creative Director to assess participants at each phase transition.
- Uphold program expectations through Free 2 Fly’s accountability structure, including verbal warnings, probation, and, when necessary, program dismissal.
Case Management
- Research and stay informed on community resources including:
SNAP benefits, housing programs, medical support, counseling, transportation, and career training. - Connect participants to support groups, church groups, recovery programs, and other enrichment opportunities suited to their season of life.
Records & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records for each participant, including program start dates, identification documents, W-9s, medical and financial documentation, goals, and progress notes.
Enrichment Coordination
- Plan, coordinate, and schedule all enrichment programming and weekly classes.
- Source, purchase, or secure sponsorships for class materials.
- Communicate with and support all enrichment teachers.
- Lead or teach classes as needed.
Counseling Coordination
- Oversee partnerships with contracted clinical counseling services.
- Support participants in connecting with the counselor best suited for their needs.
Occasional After-Hours Support
- Provide occasional support outside typical work hours (e.g., court advocacy, crisis support).
COMMUNITY COLLABORATION
Community Partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local nonprofits, agencies, and referral partners.
- Expand community connections that enhance program offerings and support for participants.
Church Partnerships
- Plan and coordinate monthly Chapel services.
- Strengthen church collaborations through pastor lunch-and-learns, Bible studies, serve days, and other partnership opportunities.
Volunteer Engagement
- Oversee volunteer applications and placement.
- Collaborate with staff to integrate volunteers into meaningful organizational roles.
PROGRAM EXPANSION & GROWTH
As an organization, we desire to continue our work and enrichment programming, as well as find new ways and opportunities to expand the number of women we are able to impact. Using our enrichment programming, the Director will continue to network within our community and with other organizations to determine how we can use the curriculum and program we have established to expand our reach and work of supporting, nurturing and empowering women in our community.
Program Development
- Evaluate and strengthen program measurement tools.
- Track and interpret data that highlights the program’s impact on women in the community.
Impact Expansion
- Explore ways to expand Free 2 Fly’s reach using established curriculum, partnerships, and community connections.
- Network within the community to create new program opportunities and collaborative initiatives.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in weekly staff meetings.
- Lead morning prayer and devotions for staff and program participants.
- Coordinate quarterly birthday celebrations using volunteers and sponsors.
- Assist with fundraising activities, including ALLELO, ‘bird & barn,’ Fly Night, and additional events.
- Work with the CEO on program budgeting and resource allocation.
- Represent Free 2 Fly at occasional markets or events outside of standard business hours.
- Collaborate with the CEO and Director of Marketing on donor communications and program updates.
- Become familiar with Keela donor software.
Qualifications & Skills
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree (Social Work, Ministry, Counseling, Human Services, or related field.)
- Minimum 3 years of nonprofit experience.
- Familiarity with local community resources and partner organizations.
- Experience working with individuals from varied backgrounds.
- Commitment to the mission and purpose of Free 2 Fly.

Full-Time | Salary starting in the low $40,000s, based on experience + Earned PTO
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM; Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM (Some schedule flexibility available)
